I wrote the lyrics when I was on my way back from Moscow, Idaho, on a 10-hour-or-whatever bus ride, with all of my band buddies. So a lot of the lyrics are just things I saw on the way and stuff I thought about. I was reading an essay-in-book-form called 'On Truth' by Harry G. Frankfurt. I also bought the precursor, 'On Bullshit', which is really interesting too. So I was thinking of some philosophical shit and that's where a lot the lyrics came from. Also from Kubla Khan I.
